My Story
Seth Parlier serves as the Vice President of Power Engineering at KCI.

KCI is a full-service engineering consulting firm focused on critical infrastructure projects across the United States. KCI’s design and construction support services aide in diverse projects ranging from major Interstate Tunnels and Bridges to Data Centers, Distributed Generation, and Power Grid Modernization.
Seth’s organization focuses on power projects for many of the top Utility companies in the nation. These projects include grid hardening and self-healing technology, grid capacity and expansion, system LED lighting upgrades, and power restoration after storm events.
Prior to joining KCI, Seth spent 15 years in various engineering and operational leadership roles at Duke Energy, last serving as Director, Area Operations. Seth earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University, and a Juris Doctor from North Carolina Central University. He is a registered professional engineer in South Carolina and North Carolina and is a member of the North Carolina State Bar.
